Delusional Neoliberals Discuss Optimal Tax Systems While Socialist Revolution Streams In Background

/dəˈlo͞oZH(ə)nəl/
adjective
- characterized by or holding idiosyncratic beliefs or impressions that are contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder.”hospitalization for schizophrenia and delusional paranoia”
- based on or having faulty judgment; mistaken.”their delusional belief in the project’s merits never wavers”
In the middle of the socialist uprising happening in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, Twitch streamer Bastiat decides that it would be prudent to discuss optimal tax policy with the rich, white-passing streamer Destiny.
Bastiat jumped on stream a couple of hours ago to broadcast the based protests but quickly tired of what he considered “a bunch of lazy, disgusting looters who should go home and read a book.”
One of Bastiat’s top-tier chatters found the topic of capital gains and corporate tax treatment quite hilarious, as does BNN.
While many other streamers were actively engaged with their chatters by discussing racial issues, previous police injustices, and potential police reforms, Destiny and Bastiat found tax policy to be more important than acknowledging the significance of this socialist uprising. If the protests were outside Bastiat’s gated community and torching houses he’d still care more about “fair tax treatment” and shilling for open borders.
And it’s hard to blame them. Destiny is obviously a multi-millionaire and Bastiat is a pudgy, soft fossil fuels lawyer who would be a millionaire if not for his food and cocaine addiction. Regardless of their intentions, all neoliberals come off as delusional, detached, and utterly out of touch morons who don’t care about the plight of the working class. The revolutionaries who are carefully observing, and documenting, what occurs in their streams will not forget how bad this looked.
