Careful watchers of the NFL will have realized by now that many of the games are completely and totally scripted. What at first might be seen as terrible reffing, miracle plays, and amazing 4th quarter comebacks, is really an elaborate plan devised by the NFL and the team owners. Nearly everyone is paid off, and if you don’t comply they will give you chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and you will enjoy an early death.
This year’s Super Bowl made it obvious. During a time with incredible racial tensions in this country, what are the odds that the Super Bowl would feature two black men? The Eagles were a dumpster fire team the last few years and Patrick Mahomes played hurt but “miraculously” still won. Joe Burrow, a cis white male, had no shot of advancing to the big game.
So while millions of Americans will be stuffing their face with chicken and chips on Sunday, I’m going to take a stroll through my dying town, mourning the lost spirit of America. Hoping a few BNN readers will join me.
