BNN's 2024 Roadmap - Bastiat News Network

The Bastiat News Network was founded as a meme in late March of 2020 and our first article went live on April Fools Day. What started as a meme remains a meme and that’s the way we like it. Our articles have triggered streamers, entertained real ones, and some have even gone semi-viral on boomer Conservative Facebook pages. Throughout our first four years we’ve taken numerous breaks and the “reporting” has not always been frequent. Part of this is due to Bastiat’s failed Twitch stream. In the early days most articles had something to do with Bastiat, his orbiters, or general Twitchpol discussions. Since Bastiat stopped streaming, Rareest Pepper and I haven’t really been following anyone on Twitch or Youtube.

Sure, I’ll catch the occasional Destiny debate or pop onto Twitch to see if 46-year old Imreallyimportant can finally afford his first house, but Twitchpol is pretty dead and the few streamers that remain in that space are pretty retarded. That being said, with the election nearing closer more content should flow. And content for a few dozen articles is already planned and some drafted. Above and beyond that, we have some exciting things planned for 2024 that I’ll discuss briefly below.

I cannot promise that BNN will ever be a site that publishes as frequently as during the peak Bastiat covid streams. I can promise that 2024 will be the most content we’ve ever had and that we are here to stay if you ever want to revisit some of our classic pieces. February 2024: BNN resumes publishing
Late March 2024: BNN/Gohndim releases Tales of Bastiat, a collection of Bastiat fanfiction and other pieces of Bastiat-related content, much of which was featured on Bastiat streams.
April 2024: Celebrating the 4-year anniversary of BNN!
June 2024: BNN starts new Youtube channel, primarily featuring archived content of Bastiat
Summer 2024: New merch drop
Late 2024: Potential crossover with Substack
